Laura Shinn, MSA, CPA

Laura Shinn, CPA, MSA is the Founder & Principal of Shinn Financial, PLLC.
 

Laura earned both her bachelor's degree and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2018. She began her career in public accounting, where she gained experience working with businesses across a variety of industries before transitioning into corporate finance with a large waste management company.
 

In addition to her public accounting and finance experience, Laura is the co-founder and co-owner of E.C. Shinn Trucking, where she serves as Chief Financial Officer. As a business owner herself, she understands the day-to-day challenges of managing finances, making strategic decisions, and building a successful company.
 

Laura also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Hampshire, where she teaches Personal Finance and Introduction to Financial Accounting. She is passionate about helping students build a strong financial foundation and enjoys making accounting concepts practical and approachable.
